Dubai Art Season is a comprehensive annual artistic celebration that brings together various creative events and activities in public places. The Sikka Art and Design Festival 2022, one of Dubai Culture's flagship initiatives, will return in its 10th edition from 15 – 24 March in the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood.

Artist Mai Majdy curating as one of Akaas team an art Exhibition in collaboration with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority and Sikka Platform.

Mai Majdy showcased a collection of Impasto oil paintings, embellishment with gold & silver leaf on stretched canvas. under project titled "HIDDEN" Mai says "I believe that there is no better mirror of society than the faces of its people. Most of my artwork themes are inspired from stories and tales that reflect scenes of magical beauty and unique traditions and culture around me. I chose Emirati women as the main theme for my paintings. Each scene leaves an impression of the diversity and vitality of the world of women in Emirati society, that special hidden world full of femininity, cheerful colors, and a magical beauty inspires senses and souls.
